I've lost a little more than 1/3rd of the profit I made on Full Tilt. So, I'm taking a break for about a week. I'm studying
Colin Moshman's Sit-n-Go strategy book. I don't want to tilt more than I already have and I think it's a good idea to take a break and do some studying. I probably don't do enough of that so, this should be good for my game. I'll return to poker next week and continue my quest for the $10,000 bankroll.

I liked that book but I will give a warning about following it too closely at the low and micro level sngs. It doesn't always work the greatest.
The range of hands that people will play at the micro level is wider then the range in the book.
My best advice for these is to play your premium hands hard and your drawing hands light.
You can see a lot of flops cheaply at this level so wait for a good spot to hit them hard. You can't bluff early in these at all. 4th pair is like to trump to people.
Enjoy your break and thanks for stopping at my blog!
Thanks for the advice. I'll remember that when I get ready to play again. And thanks for checking out my blog.
Saw your horrific run post when my RSS reader caught it. Bad runs are brutal. Can you put a finger on something you're doing wrong? If not, just stick to your guns and things will turn around.
Let me know if you want to bounce some ideas around. Always willing to help/learn.
BTW, OddsMaker changed out their software and they are now on the Merge Network. That is some seriously easy money right there.
That post was after a horrible night of bad beats. I picked up my chair and threw it across the room. There's a big black mark on the door and a partial hole in the wall. LOL. I decided to delete the post because it sounded so pitiful. I can't put my finger on anything I'm doing wrong. I know I'd like to improve my push/fold game late in tournaments. I thought about purchasing SNG Wizard. I bought the trial version and I was impressed. What comes around goes around and I'm trying to be patient for my turn.
